Prudential Arizona Properties and Yahoo.com Team-Up In An Unprecedented Arizona Agreement
Prudential Arizona Properties, leading the way in Real Estate technology - launches new E-Commerce Division
Scottsdale, AZ—August 2004—Prudential Arizona Properties is the largest firm in the Valley to benefit from an unprecedented move by Prudential Financial to team with Yahoo.com in an exclusive agreement. The agreement with Yahoo.com gives Prudential Arizona Properties a huge market advantage by providing buyers access to more detailed property information that was previously available only to licensed members of the real estate community. Prudential Arizona Properties will handle the majority of the Valley’s consumer requests coming from the Yahoo.com connection.
Margaret Dixon, president and CEO of Prudential Arizona Properties says, “Prudential Financial had the foresight and vision to team with Yahoo.com. This exclusive agreement provides tremendous growth opportunities for the company and a huge benefit to the real estate consumer. The liaison between companies also reinforces Prudential Arizona Properties’ position as a leader when it comes to real estate technology.”
Prudential Arizona Properties began preparing for the Yahoo.com capabilities months ago. As a result, Prudential Arizona Properties recently created an E-Commerce Division with the primary responsibility of responding to all on-line inquiries within a 24-hour time frame. The Division is managed by Holly Eslinger, a 30-year real estate veteran and is supported by the E-Team, an elite group of Prudential Arizona Properties’ Sale Associates with particular expertise in Internet technology. Each member of the “E-Team” has met rigid sales and training standards and has demonstrated expertise in working with Internet savvy clientele. All leads will be qualified and nurtured online until they are ready for the assistance of a professional REALTOR®. They will then be referred to an E-Team member.
Prudential Arizona Properties is the only company that develops the leads for their Realtors® rather than the traditional pass-through technique. The new “E-Team” will be working with buyers and sellers who are ready to make a move, thus creating a whole new market segment. The growth of the company should be exponential with this new market trend.
According to Holly Eslinger, director of e-commerce for Prudential Arizona Properties, “Margaret Dixon is the true visionary in this whole process. We know that buyers are getting younger and that 72% begin their search for a home on-line. The E-Commerce Division stands ready when the buyer is ready to take the next steps toward purchasing a home.”
Eslinger continued, “The property information available on Yahoo is so robust we anticipate most of our buyers to have narrowed their home search to one or two properties, all on-line, before we even meet them in person. With the speed of today’s economy and business, people don’t have the time to visit real estate offices until they know there is the right property for them.”
